Teenager uninjured after driving car off three metre cliff

A teenager has walked away uninjured after driving his car off a cliff in Victoria's alpine region.

The 18-year-old man fell three metres in his Holden Trailblazer when it drove off Mount Muller Road at Mirimbah just before 11pm on Friday.

Victoria Police said a combined effort from emergency services and a towing company, secured the vehicle and took the driver to safety near Mount Buller.

Teenager uninjured after car drives off cliff in Victoria.

"His vehicle came to rest on its side and was prevented from sliding further down the mountain after being stopped by trees," Victoria Police said in a statement.

"He was checked over at the scene however was uninjured."

The snow season has started at Mount Buller this weekend.
