Bikie who allegedly stabbed man in the backside arrested, charged

Police have arrested and charged a bikie who allegedly stabbed a man in the buttocks outside a clubhouse in Sydney's west last year.

The 29-year-old is the fifth person to be charged over the incident, which took place in August.

"On Sunday 20 August 2023, officers attached to Blacktown Police Area Command were called to Blacktown Hospital following reports a 31-year-old man had presented with stab wounds to his buttocks," police said in a statement this morning.

A man who was arrested over a stabbing outside a bikie clubhouse.

"Soon after, police intercepted a vehicle leaving the hospital and arrested the driver – a 34-year-old man – who was taken to Blacktown Police Station and charged with concealing serious indictable offence. He was refused bail and appeared at Blacktown Local Court the next day.

"Local police commenced initial inquiries, before the matter was taken carriage of by State Crime Command's Criminal Groups Squad under Strike Force Wirraburra.

"Strike force detectives established the 31-year-old man had been assaulted and stabbed by a group of men attached to an outlaw motorcycle club outside its clubhouse in Blacktown."

A man who was arrested over a stabbing outside a bikie clubhouse.

In addition to the 34-year-old driver, three other men – aged 69, 37 and 39, were arrested between August and December.

The fifth man wasn't arrested until yesterday morning, after police had been granted a warrant.

Officers allege the 29-year-old is the man who stabbed the 31-year-old victim in the backside, while the others assaulted him.

The 29-year-old was charged with multiple offences, including wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and assault.

He was denied bail and appeared in court yesterday.
