Man hospitalised after found critically injured on Sydney footpath

A man remains hospitalised in critical condition after he was found injured on a footpath in Sydney's Inner West earlier this week.

Emergency services rushed to Mitchell Street in Glebe about 10.40am on Tuesday. 

There, they found and treated the 45-year-old for critical injuries.

Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney.

The man was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, where he remains today in critical condition.

While strike force investigators probe how he became injured, police have called on the public for information.
