Snow falls on multiple states as freezing cold sweeps Australia

It was Christmas in July for three jurisdictions in Australia as snow fell on low-lying areas on the weekend.

Weatherzone said flurries were seen down to elevations of nearly 400 metres.

The snowfalls were sparked by a cold airmass moving across Australia's south-east, combined with low cloud and moist winds.
