Residents across New South Wales' flood-ravaged north are being warned to brace for more rain today.
The Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) said up to 25mm - 500 mm could fall across areas of the mid-north coast, Northern Rivers and Hunter regions.
"Severe thunderstorms are possible in the northeast and Central Ranges today," BoM wrote.
They've warned flash flooding is also possible.

"People should take care on the roads over the coming days with rain expected to continue."
The rain is the result of a cold front, which swept east from South Australia and has unleased a week-long rain bomb over the state.

https://twitter.com/BOM_NSW/status/1506754205633196036Speaking to Today yesterday senior meteorologist at the BoM Jonathan How said the heaviest falls will be felt on Thursday and Friday.
"It is the news that no-one in NSW wants to hear right now...across eastern NSW, there's plenty of wet weather to come," he said.
"We're set for another seven days of showers, rain and storms - really anywhere north of Wollongong up towards Sydney and Northern Rivers as well.
"Isolated places could see 200mm fall from tomorrow and into the weekend."
The Northern Rivers was hard-hit by the deadly flood crisis which left towns such as Lismore and Woodburn underwater.

Flooding also occurred in Ballina and as the waters receded a housing crisis only got worse in Byron Bay.
Byron Community Centre General Manager, Louise O'Connell said the coastal town had the highest number of homeless, outside of metropolitan capitals Sydney and Melbourne, before COVID-19.
Then the floods came.
"We have 15,000 people displaced from floods," she told Today as she announced the opening of a new hub to provide relief for those in need.
"It was already a housing emergency. So it is very scary where we are at now.
"We can operate this until the end of the year. I have no full-time staff here. I would love to put on some full-time social workers. We really need some more help."

Canberra
Similar conditions will be felt in the nation's capital, as it too reaches a maximum temperature of 22C.
It also has the chance of a thunderstorm in the afternoon and early evening.
Melbourne
The mercury will climb to 20C in Melbourne today, which will be partly cloudy with a high UV Index of six. Sun protection is recommended.
Hobart
It will also be a partly cloudy 20C day in Hobart.
Adelaide
The temperature in Adelaide will reach a top of 23C today. It too will be partly cloudy.
Darwin
Darwin could see showers and a possible storm today as the mercury reaches 33C.
Perth
The mercury will reach 32C in Perth. A sunny day is ahead, with the BoM urging residents to wear sun protection from 9:10 am to 3:30 pm.
The UV Index is expected to reach eight.
