A man's body has been found in floodwaters in Rochester in Victoria's north.
Victoria Police said the 71-year-old man was found dead in floodwaters in the backyard of his High Street property around 9.30am this morning.
"SES crews are on scene and police are attempting to get to the property which is currently blocked off due to floodwater," Victoria Police said in a statement.

"The exact circumstances surrounding the death are yet to be determined."
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
Premier Daniel Andrews sent his condolences to the family of the man.
"We send our deepest sympathies to his family and friends," he said.
"Rochester is a tight-knit community and they will be saddened to know one of their community has passed away."

An evacuation order was issued for Rochester yesterday and floodwaters remain high in the town today.
The Campaspe River peaked 300 mm above the 2011 floods last night in Rochester.
