Thieves behind $500,000 Sydney motorcycle heist still at-large

Detectives are still hunting the thieves who masterminded a major $500,000 motorcycle heist in Sydney.

In July, more than 50 Honda CRF250F motorcycles were stolen from a holding yard in Strathfield South, in the city's Inner West.

A shipping container full of motorcycles was delivered to Strathfield in July, but when it was checked three days later all the bikes were missing.

A red Holden Barina hatchback and a dark coloured utility drive through a holding yard in Strathfield SouthDetectives have released a CCTV image of a man they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.

Police today released CCTV footage of two vehicles and images of a man they believe could help solve the case.

In the footage, a red Holden Barina hatchback and dark-coloured ute towing a trailer can be seen driving through the container-laden yard.

Detectives established Strike Force Goodhall and the investigation is ongoing.
